Why CCVA?

CCVA is the only boys club in the Central Valley that competes in the Southern California league.  Southern California and Northern California boys volleyball differ primarily in talent depth, regional governing bodies, and club landscape strength. SoCal is the nation's premier epicenter for elite men's talent and year-round play, while NorCal operates on a slightly smaller, more localized developmental scale.

Talent Depth and Competition

• Southern California: Widely considered the densest pipeline for NCAA Division 1 men's volleyball talent globally. High school programs (such as Newport Harbor, Loyola, and Mira Costa) and clubs face extreme, deep competition week in and week out. 

• Northern California: Features strong pockets of high-level play, but overall depth and sheer volume of elite Division 1 prospects lag behind the massive SoCal talent pool.

• 40%-50% of all division 1 prospects come out of the Southern California Region.
